Welcome to EACED. I've been building and modifying effects and other audio devices since 2003. I'm ready to take on any project you're interested in, from adding an expression pedal jack to a completely customized synthesizer. I also can design a circuit or special purpose chip for you if you build music gear. Prices depend on how much time is required and the price of parts. This page shows some of the more interesting projects I've completed; it's updated regularly so check back. Click on any of the thumbnails in the scrolling box below for information, images, soundclips, and videos of each project. If you have questions, inquiries, or anything comments at all, don't hesitate to e-mail me.

I am currently not accepting orders.

The Mini-Optosynth

This box is a fairly noisy synthesizer with a keyboard-like button array and a light dependent resistor (LDR) which changes the frequency depending on how much light is hitting it. Directly below the LDR is an LED with an on/off switch which allows the box to be used in dark settings by making its light to reflect onto the LDR. The box also has an input jack which allows an external signal to modulate the frequency, and a knob to control this amount. Finally, there are knobs to control the output waveform and volume. The "keyboard" allows the synth to be played rhythmically and musically, making it more than just a noise synth.
